Montclair continued celebrating the holiday season Friday, with the township’s annual tree lighting ceremony on Church Street Plaza.

On hand were Montclair Community Band, Santa and Mrs. Claus, the Toy Soldier, and snow and gingerbread persons. Families enjoyed a giant snow globe, a Candy Lane inflatable, and kids’ activities.

Letters to Santa can be mailed to 205 Claremont Ave., Montclair, NJ 07042 — or dropped off at the recreation office at the same address — until Dec. 15.
